GIRLS TENNIS: Amy Morena, Tania Mendoza send Rancho past Sierra Vista

Amy Morena and Tania Mendoza went 3-0 in doubles Tuesday to lead Rancho’s girls tennis team to a 10-8 win at Sierra Vista.
Destiny Trujeque and Maiyah Norton each went 2-1 in singles for the Rams.
Andrada Stanciu was 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Sharon Louie and Vivian Luong went 2-1 for Sierra Vista.
Foothill 11, Basic 7 — At Foothill, the doubles team of Marlaina George and Emily Campbell went 2-1 to lead the Falcons to victory over the Wolves.
Tjaden Giles was 3-0 in singles for Basic, and Britney Green and Mikayla Berg finished 3-0 in doubles for the Wolves.
Centennial 12, Arbor View 6 — At Centennial, Sara Altfas was 3-0 in singles to help the Bulldogs top the Aggies.
The doubles teams of Giselle Leyva and Cassandra Haskin, and Lainey Waldman and Hannah Robinson each went 2-0 for Centennial.
Kahlea Kimoto went 2-1 in singles for Arbor View, and Catherine Arizmendez and Devin Diesko finished 2-1 in doubles.
Palo Verde 16, Shadow Ridge 2 — At Palo Verde, Shelby Graber and Brooklynn Harris each went 2-0 in singles as the Panthers defeated the Mustangs.
Abby Lewis and Kaya Richardson finished 2-0 in doubles for Palo Verde.
Faith Lutheran 14, Legacy 4 — At Legacy, Paige Erlanger went 2-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Sophia Longi and Lauren Haight also went 2-0 as the Crusaders topped the Longhorns.
Blake Berkabile was 2-1 in singles for Legacy.
Eldorado 12, Durango 6 — At Eldorado, the doubles teams of April Grajeda and Devyn Swain, and Fernanda Mejia and Navtej Raju each finished 3-0 to lead the Sundevils over the Trailblazers.
Kristie Thomas was 2-1 in singles for Eldorado.
Averiana Mitchell went 3-0 in singles to lead Durango.
Coronado 13, Liberty 5 — At Liberty, Megan King was 3-0 in singles to lift the Cougars over the Patriots.
The Meadows 18, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson School, Sara Blenkiron was 2-0 in singles as the Mustangs blanked the Lions.
The doubles teams of Abbigail Klein and Sophie Isaacs, and Hillary Giang and Olivia Waysack both finished 2-0 for The Meadows.
Virgin Valley 12, Tech 6 — At Mesquite, the Bulldogs topped the Roadrunners.
The doubles teams of Jackie Hughes and Talia Hansen, and Haley Allen and Emma Smith each went 3-0 for Virgin Valley.
Green Valley 15, Silverado 3 — At Green Valley, the Gators defeated the Skyhawks.
Cheyenne vs. Mojave — At Mojave, the match ended in a double forfeit.
