GIRLS TENNIS: Burk, Patriots top Basic

Payton Burk went 3-0 in singles on Tuesday to help Liberty’s girls tennis team to a 13-5 win over visiting Basic.

Hailey Collins and Paula Ramirez went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Wolves.

Palo Verde 16, Centennial 2 — At Palo Verde, Tia Okano and Anahit Urfalyan each went 2-0 in singles as the Panthers downed the Bulldogs.

Shannon Dean and Michaela Jackson were 2-0 in doubles for Palo Verde.

Eldorado 10, Foothill 8 — At Eldorado, Cheyenne Delicate went 2-1 in singles and won the deciding point to help the Sundevils edge the Falcons.

The doubles teams of Kerrigan Holman and Jazmine Sanchez, and Jocey Avila and Avery Swain each went 3-0 for Eldorado.

Lilly Nettles went 3-0 in singles for Foothill.

Bishop Gorman 14, Faith Lutheran 4 — At Gorman, Chelsea Crovetti was 2-0 in singles to help the Gaels beat the Crusaders.

Sadie Klassen and Zoe Lier went 2-0 in doubles to help Gorman.

Krystal Petersen and Lauren Wright each went 1-0 in singles for Faith Lutheran, and teammates Dina Ciulla and Jayden Mattson teamed to win their lone doubles set.

Coronado 15, Del Sol 2 — At Coronado, Lauren Coons and Nikoleta Nikoloff each went 2-0 in singles as the Cougars routed the Dragons.

Virgin Valley 11, Desert Pines 7 — At Desert Pines, Haley Allen and Emily Leavitt went 2-1 in doubles to help the Bulldogs beat the Jaguars.

Ashley Palacios was 3-0 in singles to lead Desert Pines, and teammates Cassandra Bueno and Sara Villataro went 2-1 in doubles.

The Meadows 11, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson School, Anjali Daulat and Anuja Daulat each went 2-0 in singles to help the Mustangs defeat the Lions.

Bonanza 12, Durango 6 — At Bonanza, Adrienne Millow, Lauren Smith and Emma Nelson each went 2-0 in singles to lead the Bengals past the Trailblazers.

Arbor View 15, Legacy 3 — At Legacy, Elen Safarian and Devin Diesko each went 3-0 in singles to power the Aggies past the Longhorns.

Nicolette D’Arienzo and Megan Wheatley teamed to go 3-0 in doubles for Arbor View.

Clark 17, Mojave 1 — At Mojave, Abbey Escala and Andrea Busicescu each went 2-0 in singles to lead the Chargers to victory over the Rattlers.

Boulder City 12, Tech 6 — At Tech, Melissa O’Berto was 3-0 in singles to help the Eagles down the Roadrunners.

Green Valley 18, Rancho 0 — At Green Valley, the Gators swept the Rams.

Moapa Valley 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Pirates won by forfeit.

Las Vegas 12, Canyon Springs 0 — At Las Vegas, the Wildcats won by forfeit.

Cheyenne 12, Western 0 — At Western, the Desert Shields won by forfeit.

Valley, Silverado match suspended

At Valley, the Vikings’ match against Silverado was suspended because of darkness with Valley leading 9-8 and up 4-2 in the last remaining set. A completion date has not been set.
