GIRLS TENNIS: Jaguars edge Cowboys

Ashley Palacios and Cecilia Garcia Leon each went 3-0 in singles Wednesday to help Desert Pines’ girls tennis team to a 10-8 win at Chaparral.

Tiffany Braunstein and Santana Myers went 3-0 in doubles for Chaparral.

The Jaguars also collected a 10-5 win over the Cowboys in the completion of a match that was suspended by rain on Sept. 9.

Moapa Valley 11, Tech 7 — At Overton, the doubles teams of Hannah Rust and Mikenzie Robinson, and Jordyn Ramos and Brighten Crawford each went 3-0 as the Pirates outlasted the Roadrunners.

Sydney Bunker was 3-0 in singles for Tech.

Tech was a 10-8 winner over the Pirates in the completion of a Sept. 9 match that was suspended by rain.

The Meadows 14, Coronado 4 — At The Meadows, Anjali Daulat went 3-0 in singles as the Mustangs topped the Cougars.

Nikoletta Nikoloff and Roberta Padalino were 3-0 in doubles for Coronado.

Bonanza 14, Cimarron-Memorial 4 — At Cimarron, Adrienne Millow was 3-0 in singles as the Bengals downed the Spartans.

Emma Nelson was 2-0 in singles for Bonanza.

Bishop Gorman 16, Legacy 2 — At Legacy, Julia MacDonald went 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Zoe Lier and Amanda Adolfo went 3-0 as the Gaels routed the Longhorns.

Centennial 14, Desert Oasis 4 — At Desert Oasis, Michella Albright and Danielle Mortensen each went 3-0 in singles to help lead the Bulldogs to victory over the Diamondbacks.

Steffi DelRosario and Sabrina Otero were 2-1 in doubles for Desert Oasis.

Liberty 13, Las Vegas 5 — At Liberty, Yvonne Asoy and Breanna Alvarez went 3-0 in doubles to help the Patriots beat the Wildcats.

Geovanna Hilton was 3-0 in singles for Las Vegas.

Mojave 11, Cheyenne 7 — At Mojave, Eva Simpson was 1-0 in singles as the Rattlers downed the Desert Shields.

Sharrah Kenyon and Sarah Kane won their only doubles set for Mojave.

Gabi Denton finished 3-0 in singles for Cheyenne.

Boulder City 16, Sunrise Mountain 2 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Eagles downed the Miners.

Clark 12, Western 0 — At Western, the Chargers won by forfeit.
