Audrey Boch-Collins, a junior from Clark, defeated Madison Smith of Coronado 6-0, 6-1 in the 4A girls state championship match at Bishop Manogue to become only the second girl in state history to win three individual state championships in singles.
The Cougars left no doubt about their place Nevada’s top team by notching their second consecutive 4A Nevada state title with an emphatic 15-3 victory over Palo Verde.
Boulder City’s boys tennis team and The Meadows’ girls tennis team defended their Class 3A state championships on Friday at Truckee High School.
