Roundup: Basic edges Silverado on tiebreaker

Tjaeden Giles finished 3-0 in singles, and Basic’s girls tennis team topped host Silverado 10-9 on a tiebreaker on Monday.

The Wolves outscored the Skyhawks 40-36 in the tiebreaker.

Silverado’s doubles team of Kathryn Carder and Morgan Seiler finished 3-0.

Centennial 11, Sierra Vista 7 — At Centennial, the Bulldogs had three doubles teams finish 3-0 as they defeated the Mountain Lions.

The teams of Hannah Robinson and Lainey Waldman, Talia Williams and Ashlee Weger, Sara Altfas and Josie Warbon each went 3-0 for the Bulldogs.

Ariana Stanciu and Andrada Stanciu each finished 3-0 in singles for Sierra Vista.

Bishop Gorman 11, Faith Lutheran 7 — At Faith Lutheran, Karissa Matthes and Olivia Maalouf went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Gaels over the Crusaders.

Faith Lutheran’s Kennedy Barr went 3-0 in singles.

Spring Valley 12, Shadow Ridge 6 — At Shadow Ridge, Nicole Attallah and Seda Sargsyan each went 3-0 in singles to power the Grizzles past the Mustangs.

Alexia Cassman and Rachel Gadeski teamed to go 3-0 in doubles for Shadow Ridge.

Desert Oasis 10, Durango 9 — At Desert Oasis, the Diamondbacks beat the Trailblazers on a tiebreaker, 4-2.

Maggie Concannon and Maddie Concannon finished 3-0 in doubles for Durango. Averiana Mitchell was 3-0 in singles for the Trailblazers.

Cheyenne 13, Mojave 5 — At Mojave, the doubles team of Valeria Lujan-Franco and Jaidy Guardado-Perez finished 3-0 to lead the Desert Shields to victory over the Rattlers.

Bonanza 13, Legacy 5 — At Bonanza, Kelsey Spence and Carla LaRosa went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Bengals over the Longhorns.

Madi Cherry, Aubrey Adams and Maris Nelson each went 3-0 in singles for Bonanza.

Clark 16, Cimarron-Memorial 2 — At Cimarron, Jennifer Glezen was 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Joanna Yi and Kelly Mader went 3-0 to lead the Chargers past the Spartans.

Audrey Boch-Collins and Alysandra Smith each went 2-0 in singles for Clark.

Boulder City 16, Chaparral 2 — At Boulder City, Olivia Mikkelson, Tegan Pappas and Olivia Goodfellow all went 3-0 in singles to lead the Eagles past the Cowboys.

Palo Verde 18, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Kaya Richardson and Ivona Dobrijevic each finished 2-0 in singles as the Panthers defeated the Aggies.

The doubles teams of Isabella Shelton and Shelby Graber, and Priya Raju and Devon Yamane each finished 2-0.

The Meadows 18, Adelson School 0 — At The Meadows, Isabella Monroe went 3-0 in singles as the Mustangs blanked the Lions.

Virgin Valley 13, Del Sol 5 — At Del Sol, the Bulldogs defeated the Dragons.

Yaneli Rodriguez went 3-0 in singles for Del Sol.

Moapa Valley 15, Tech 3 — At Tech, the Pirates defeated the Roadrunners.

Green Valley 13, Eldorado 5 — At Green Valley, the Gators defeated the Sundevils.

Western 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Western, the Warriors defeated the Miners by forfeit.
