ROUNDUP: Brazells help The Meadows girls keep share of first in Northwest

Taler Brazell and Amanda Brazell each went 3-0 in singles Monday to help The Meadows’ girls tennis team maintain a share of first place in the Northwest League with a 17-1 win at Centennial.
The doubles teams of Shannon Chen and Jenna Palazzo, and Anjeli Daulat and McKay Novak each went 3-0 for the Mustangs, who are tied with Palo Verde for first at 5-0 in league play.
Centennial fell to 4-1.
Palo Verde 15, Faith Lutheran 3 — At Palo Verde, Victoire Saperstein, Nikki Newell and Andrea Rathbun all went 3-0 in singles as the Panthers downed the Crusaders.
Olivia Demarta and Nikki Pizzoferrato were 3-0 in doubles for Faith Lutheran.
Legacy 10, Arbor View 8 — At Arbor View, Ashley Mayberry and Kailyn Strong went 3-0 in doubles to help the Longhorns edge the Aggies.
Danyelle Lizzio was 2-1 in singles for Legacy.
Arbor View’s Alejandra Portillo finished 3-0 in singles.
Cimarron-Memorial 11, Shadow Ridge 7 — At Cimarron, Solena Mednicoff and Stephanie Kaplan were 3-0 in doubles to help the Spartans hold off the Mustangs.
Desiree Hogue was 3-0 in singles for Shadow Ridge.
Bonanza 11, Desert Oasis 7 — At Desert Oasis, Alison Matlovic went 3-0 in singles to help the Bengals top the Diamondbacks.
Cierra Hartman went 2-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Corssa Gardley and Vanessa Stephens went 2-1 for Desert Oasis.
Bishop Gorman 12, Spring Valley 6 — At Spring Valley, the Gaels swept the nine doubles points en route to a win over the Grizzlies.
Gorman’s doubles teams of Amanda Silvestri and Kathryn Kinas, Lexi Sorrentino and Addy Gardner, and Taylor Larreau and Morgan Matley all went 3-0.
Tiffany Tavares and Ann Marrie Escalambre each went 3-0 in singles for Spring Valley.
Clark 10, Durango 8 — At Durango, Natasha James and Madee Pasimio each went 3-0 in singles to help the Chargers edge the Trailblazers.
Durango’s doubles teams of Andrea Melo and Claire Melo, and Josie Dean and Katie Moore each went 3-0.
Las Vegas 11, Rancho 7 — At Rancho, Val Shively was 3-0 in singles as the Wildcats topped the Rams.
Rancho’s Michelle Elizarras and Joanne Cosio went 2-1 in doubles.
Valley 13, Sunrise Mountain 5 — At Valley, Alex Mitiva, Brooke Harding and Nicole Russo all went 2-0 in singles to lift the Vikings past the Miners.
Vernice Ollano and Emari Bryant were 2-0 in doubles for the Vikings.
Eldorado 16, Chaparral 2 — At Chaparral, Alexis Sama was 3-0 in singles as the Sundevils blitzed the Cowboys.
Melanie Pabst and Wendy Magana went 3-0 in doubles for Eldorado.
Basic 10, Boulder City 8 — At Boulder City, the Wolves nipped the Eagles.
Mojave 12, Cheyenne 5 — At Cheyenne, the Rattlers downed the Desert Shields.
Canyon Springs 12, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, the Pioneers won by forfeit.
Virgin Valley 12, Western 0 — At Western, the Bulldogs won by forfeit.
