ROUNDUP: Cimarron-Memorial girls tennis earns home win

Kate Johnesee and Starlyn Thomas both went 3-0 in singles Monday to lead Cimarron-Memorial to a 10-5 home win over Cheyenne in girls tennis.

The match was called late because of rain.

The Meadows 13, Legacy 5 — At The Meadows, Brianna Watkins picked up three of the Longhorns’ wins as she went undefeated in singles.

Basic 14, Boulder City 4 — At Boulder City, the Wolves breezed past the Eagles.

Palo Verde 18, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, the Panthers won by forfeit as the Rattlers had only one eligible player.

Rain halts five matches — The Arbor View at Centennial, Coronado at Del Sol, Shadow Ridge at Faith Lutheran, Foothill at Green Valley, and Liberty at Silverado matches were all suspended due to rain.
