ROUNDUP: Coronado girls defeat Liberty in tennis

Coronado’s girls had three doubles teams finish 3-0 on Thursday in a 12-6 home win over Liberty.

The Cougars’ doubles teams Jordan Luna and Jordan Bruy, Ilyssa Popowcer and Liz Gibbons and Hillary Johnson and Haylee Johnson each finished 3-0.

Liberty’s Sarah Lucas and Danae Ingwaldson each finished 3-0 in singles.

Basic 11, Foothill 7 — At Basic, Alyssa Giorgi was 3-0 in singles to lead the Wolves past the Falcons.

Megan Feher and Jenilee Medina teamed to go 3-0 in doubles for Basic.

Del Sol 14, Tech 4 — At Del Sol, the Dragons defeated the visiting Roadrunners.

Green Valley 17, Boulder City 1 — At Boulder City, Green Valley routed the Eagles.

Eldorado 13, Rancho 5 — At Eldorado, Rochelle Casino and Christina Herrera each went 2-0 in singles to help the Sundevils defeat the Rams.

Dyana Sanchez and Gabriella Kinney were 2-0 in doubles for Eldorado. Maria Guanlao and Bryanna Gabrillo went 2-1 in doubles.

Rancho’s doubles team of Kristen Neubauer and Ebony Moore was 2-1 in doubles.

Las Vegas 14, Chaparral 4 — At Las Vegas, Val Shively went 2-0 in singles as the Wildcats defeated the Cowboys
Cami Fish and Alyssa D’Agostino went 3-0 in doubles for the Wildcats.

Valley 17, Desert Pines 1 — At Valley, the Vikings rolled to an easy win.

Valley’s Patrice Mayo and Nicole Russo were each 3-0 in singles, and teammate Gina Delgado was 2-0.

In doubles, the Vikings’ Vernice Ollano and Johanna Schwartz were 3-0, as were Acamy Menson and Melissa Kelley. Valley’s Jenna Beaudry and Angel Ordiway were 2-0.

Canyon Springs 11, Moapa Valley 7 — At Overton, Rebecca Breland was 3-0 in singles to lead the Pioneers over the Pirates.

Stephanie Jiraldo and Joy Jones went 3-0 in doubles for Canyon Springs.

Galina Krol was 2-1 in singles for the Pioneers. The doubles team of Keandra Mason and Christian Earl also went 2-1 for Canyon Springs.

Bonanza 14, Desert Oasis 4 — At Desert Oasis, the doubles teams of Sam Niemond and Chelsea Chatell, and Bella Minoli and Gretchen Ocanada each went 3-0 to lead the Bengals.

Alison Matlovic was 3-0 in singles for Bonanza. Halee Chynoweth and Emily Ruskawirtz went 2-0 in doubles for Bonanza.

Clark 16, Western 2 — At Clark, the Chargers rolled to the Southwest League victory.

Western’s Josie Morales and Megan Rocheford went 2-1 in doubles.

Durango 14, Spring Valley 4 — At Durango, Jamie Dean and Kaitlyn Moore finished 3-0 in doubles to lead the Trailblazers over the Grizzlies.

Bishop Gorman 13, Sierra Vista 5 — At Sierra Vista, Gorman defeated the Lions.

Sierra Vista’s Katy Daly finished 2-0 in singles.

Cheyenne 14, Mojave 4 — At Cheyenne, the Desert Shields breezed to their first win of the season.

Mojave’s doubles team of Nicole Santiman and Kristen Bachman went 3-0.

Shadow Ridge 12, Cimarron-Memorial 6 — At Cimarron-Memorial, the Shadow Ridge doubles team of Nisha Khlinali and Catherine Cabo went 3-0 as the Mustangs downed the Spartans.

Kate Johnessee went 3-0 in singles for the Spartans. Starlyn Thomas was 2-1 in singles.

Palo Verde 14, Faith Lutheran 4 — At Palo Verde, Sarah Alamshaw was 3-0 in singles as the Panthers cruised past Faith Lutheran.

Chelsey Koktavy was 2-0 in singles for the Panthers. Nikki Booth and Shelby Zepeda teamed to go 2-0 in doubles for Palo Verde.

The Meadows 11, Centennial 7 — At Centennial, Shilpa Daulat and Laura Lee finished 3-0 in doubles as the Mustangs defeated the Bulldogs.

Centennial’s Hannah Barnum finished 3-0.

Arbor View 13, Legacy 5 — At Arbor View, Taylor Bland and Ta’Keyrah Reid went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Aggies to a win over Legacy.
