Roundup: Doubles play helps Centennial down Shadow Ridge

The doubles teams of Hannah Robinson and Lainey Waldman, and Talia Williams and Ashlee Weger each went 3-0 to lead Centennial’s girls tennis team to an 11-7 home win over Shadow Ridge on Thursday.

Elisa Sperandio and Caitlyn Covington each went 3-0 in singles play for the Mustangs.

Liberty 11, Silverado 7 — At Silverado, Jada Whited and Arianna Castor went 3-0 in doubles play to lift the Patriots over the Skyhawks.

Anna Pfarrer was 3-0 in singles for Liberty.

Lyric Ciarlo went 2-1 in singles for Silverado. Kathryn Carder and Morgan Seiler went 2-1 in doubles for the Skyhawks.

Cimarron-Memorial 10, Legacy 8 — At Cimarron, the Spartans earned their first victory of the season by edging the Longhorns.

Legacy’s Ally Stolworthy was 3-0 in singles.

Virgin Valley 11, Chaparral 7 — At Chaparral, Emma Wilson went 3-0 in singles play to lead the Bulldogs past the Cowboys.

The doubles team of Karina Cosentino and Eva Esqueda went 3-0 to lead the Cowboys.

Foothill 14, Eldorado 4 — At Eldorado, Isabelle Hanon and Carli Pecchiari each went 2-0 in singles play to lead the Falcons past the Sundevils.

Heather Holman and Devyn Swain teamed to go 3-0 in doubles to lead the Sundevils.

Desert Oasis 13, Arbor View 5 — At Arbor View, Stephanie Parlade and Adriana Benjamin went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Diamondbacks past the Aggies.

Karina Damien was 3-0 in singles for Desert Oasis.

Clark 13, Desert Pines 5 — At Desert Pines, Audrey Boch-Collins and Joanna Yi each finished 2-0 in singles to help the Chargers down the Jaguars.

Veronica Palacios and Yazaret Arredondo went 2-1 in doubles to pace Desert Pines.

Green Valley 13, Las Vegas 5 — At Green Valley, Olivia Nhaissi and Catherine Ceroni went 3-0 in doubles to power the Gators over the Wildcats.

Coronado 17, Basic 1 — At Basic, Carly Poste and Kaylin Heiss each went 2-0 in singles to lead the Cougars past the Wolves.

The doubles team of Madison Garman and Abbie Phillips also went 2-0 for Coronado.

Boulder City 18, Tech 0 — At Boulder City, Tegan Pappas and Natalie Bowman each went 3-0 in singles as the Eagles blanked the Roadrunners.

Kali Martin and Heather Patterson finished 3-0 in doubles for Boulder City. Olivia Goodfellow was 2-0 in singles for the Eagles.

Valley 12, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, the Vikings defeated the Pioneers by forfeit.

Moapa Valley 12, Del Sol 0 — At Overton, the Pirates defeated the Dragons by forfeit.

Sunrise Mountain at Rancho — The match ended in a double forfeit.
