Maritza Del Rio and Carolina Ayala went 3-0 in doubles Thursday to help Las Vegas High’s girls tennis team hand visiting Canyon Springs its first loss of the season, 10-8.
Val Shively went 2-1 in singles for the Wildcats, who improved to 7-2 overall and took over sole possession of first place in the Northeast League at 6-0.
Rebecca Breland won all three of her singles sets for the Pioneers (9-1, 6-1).
Valley 10, Rancho 8 — At Rancho, Valley’s Alex Miteva and Nicole Russo both went 3-0 in singles to lead the Vikings to victory.
Mariah Coleman went 2-1 in singles, and Michelle Elizarras and Joann Colsio were 2-1 in doubles for the Rams.
Bishop Gorman 14, Bonanza 4 — At Gorman, Polly Kulla and Kathryn Kinas went 3-0 in doubles as the Gaels downed the Bengals.
Alison Matlovic went 3-0 in singles for Bonanza.
Foothill 11, Boulder City 7 — At Foothill, Miranda Crumpler and Elizabeth Philpot went 3-0 in doubles as the Falcons slipped past the Eagles.
Ayanna Donskee was 3-0 in singles for Boulder City.
Liberty 11, Green Valley 7 — At Liberty, Aphrah Brokaw finished 3-0 in singles as the Patriots defeated the Gators.
Dana Schwartz and Lida Kilchenko went 2-1 in doubles for Green Valley.
Moapa Valley 12, Sunrise Mountain 6 — At Overton, Natalie Rust and Jennessa Gates each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Pirates past the Miners.
Yazmine Anas and Dara Slivka were 2-1 in doubles for Sunrise Mountain.
Silverado 16, Del Sol 2 — At Silverado, Alexis McNamara and Sasie Hasagawa each went 2-0 in singles to lead the Skyhawks to a rout over the Dragons.
Lindsey Fullerton and Miranda Groh finished 2-0 in doubles for Silverado.
Basic 15, Tech 3 — At Tech, the Wolves rolled past the Roadrunners.
Chaparral 12, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, the Cowboys won by forfeit.
