Roundup: Las Vegas High tops Eldorado

Brittany Chavez and Hannah Rivera went 2-0 in doubles help Las Vegas High’s girls tennis team to an 11-7 road victory over Eldorado on Friday afternoon.

The doubles pairs of Natasha Alvarenga and Brianna Garcia and Julianne Pedraza and Natalie Ortega also went 2-0 for the Wildcats.

Devyn Swain went 2-0 in singles for the Sundevils.

Durango 10, Tech 8 — At Tech, Maggi and Matti Concannon finished 3-0 in doubles as they sealed the victory for the Trailblazers.

Desert Oasis 13, Liberty 5 — At Desert Oasis, Natalia Damian and Raquel Roshak each finished 3-0 in singles as the Diamondbacks took down the Patriots.

Liberty’s Shelby Carvalho and Brandi Nelson finished 3-0 in doubles.

Rancho 10, Cimarron-Memorial 8 — At Rancho, Anakaren Martinez went 3-0 in singles play to help the Rams hold off the Spartans.

Mariah Pollard and Elizabeth Parra went 3-0 in doubles for Rancho.

Sierra Vista 12, Green Valley 6 — At Green Valley, the Mountain Lions outlasted the Gators.

Palo Verde 15, Legacy 3 — At Palo Verde, the Panthers took down Legacy.

Italia Jones went 2-1 in singles for Legacy.
