Roundup: Madison Knoblock leads Liberty past Boulder City

Madison Knoblock went 3-0 in singles on Monday to lead Liberty’s girls tennis team to an 11-7 home win over Boulder City.

The doubles team of Jada Whited and Arianna Castor also went 3-0 for the Patriots.

Tegan Pappas was 2-1 in singles for the Eagles.

Sierra Vista 10, Durango 9 — At Durango, the Mountain Lions downed the Trailblazers 29-21 in tiebreaker points to take the match.

A.J. Mitchell went 3-0 in singles play, and Maddie and Maggie Concannon went 3-0 in doubles play to lead Durango.

Arbor View 10, Shadow Ridge 8 — At Arbor View, Malia Moline and Sydney Johnson finished 2-1 in doubles as the Aggies edged the Mustangs.

Shadow Ridge’s Alexia Cassman and Rachel Gadeski went 3-0 in doubles, and teammate Elisa Sperandio finished 2-0 in singles.

Faith Lutheran 12, Centennial 6 — At Centennial, Jade Mayweather and Summer Stadlander each finished 2-0 in singles to lead the Crusaders over the Bulldogs.

Desert Oasis 13, Cimarron-Memorial 5 — At Desert Oasis, Stephanie Parlade finished 3-0 in singles to lead the Diamondbacks to a victory over the Spartans.

Desert Oasis’ Jaci Valandingham and Hailee Valandingham went 2-0 in doubles.

Cimarron-Memorial’s Aaliyah Hanley and Tasia Moore finished 2-1 in doubles.

Clark 14, Legacy 4 — At Clark, Joanna Yi and Kelly Mader went 2-0 in doubles to lead the Chargers over the Longhorns.

Audrey Boch-Collins went 2-0 in singles for Clark.

Palo Verde 12, Bonanza 6 — At Palo Verde, Isabella Shelton and Kaya Richardson each finished 2-0 in singles to lead the Panthers over the Bengals.

The doubles team of Shelby Graber and Ivona Dobrijevic finished 2-0 for Palo Verde.

Cheyenne 15, Sunrise Mountain 3 — At Cheyenne, Kennedy Vincent and Ludovica Piccioli each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Desert Shields over the Miners.

Bishop Gorman 16, Spring Valley 2 — At Spring Valley, Courtney Wilson and Kaylin Honan each went 2-0 in singles to lead the Gaels past the Grizzlies.

Seda Sargsyan was 2-1 in singles for Spring Valley.

Desert Pines 12, Mojave 0 — At Desert Pines, the Jaguars beat the Rattlers by forfeit.

Adelson School 12, Western 0 — At Adelson School, the Lions defeated the Warriors by forfeit.

Rancho 12, Del Sol 0 — At Rancho, the Rams defeated the Dragons by forfeit.

The Meadows boys tennis team won the Class 4A state title Friday in Reno. The Boulder City boys and girls lost to Northern teams in the 3A title matches.
