ROUNDUP: Ortiz sweeps, helps Rancho girls edge Sundevils on tiebreaker

Monica Ortiz went 3-0 in singles, and Rancho’s girls tennis team won four of the six tiebreaker games Tuesday to nip visiting Eldorado, 10-9.
Mariah Coleman went 2-1 in singles for the Rams.
Abby Mausigon and Margeaux Martinez paired up to go 2-1 in doubles for the Sundevils.
Las Vegas 12, Valley 6 — At Las Vegas, Val Shively and Selena Torres each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Wildcats past the Vikings.
Amy Ortega was 2-1 in singles for Las Vegas.
Canyon Springs 17, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Rebecca Breland, Christian Earl and Ma’Jhanae Thomas each went 3-0 in singles as the Pioneers whipped the Miners.
The doubles teams of Alex Cook and Cindy Burdasch, and Tianna Barnes and Addy Ascencio went 3-0 apiece for Canyon Springs.
Cimarron-Memorial 15, Mojave 3 — At Mojave, Solena Mednicoff and Stephanie Kaplan finished 3-0 in doubles play as the Spartans cruised past the Rattlers.
Natasha Puckett and Chalon Henderson went 2-0 in doubles for Cimarron.
Hannah Tatlock was 3-0 in singles for Mojave.
Faith Lutheran 16, Legacy 2 — At Faith Lutheran, Nikki Pizzoferrato and Oliva Demarta both went 3-0 in singles, and Aubrey Astle and Paige Schanbacher went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Crusaders past the Longhorns.
Stacie Graham and Ellie Waite went 2-0 in doubles play for Faith Lutheran.
Centennial 14, Shadow Ridge 4 — At Shadow Ridge, Jordan Sgro went 2-0 in singles to help the Bulldogs beat the Mustangs.
The Meadows 17, Arbor View 1 — At The Meadows, Austin McMillan and Anjali Daulat each went 3-0 in singles to help the Mustangs rout the Aggies.
Green Valley 12, Tech 6 — At Tech, Green Valley’s doubles teams of Lida Kilcherders and Chloe Spobelt, and Lauren Recine and Alyssa Boman both went 2-0 to help the Gators defeat the Roadrunners.
Alexis Sanchez went 3-0 in singles for the Roadrunners.
Basic 12, Del Sol 6 — At Basic, the doubles teams of Marissa Ross and Adrian Brown, and Michell Petty and Lacey Romo both went 3-0 as the Wolves beat the Dragons.
Katie Fischer went 3-0 in singles for Del Sol.
Coronado 16, Boulder City 2 — At Boulder City, Sarah Pate and Vianca Vianzon went 2-0 in doubles to give the Cougars a win over the Eagles.
Kayla Carlton and Lea Cohen also went 2-0 in doubles for Coronado.
Spring Valley 14, Desert Oasis 4 — At Spring Valley, Tiffany Tavares, Sierra Weyer and Ann Marie Escalambre all went 3-0 in singles to push the Grizzlies past the Diamondbacks.
Corrisa Gardley and Jessica Alberro were 2-1 in doubles to lead Desert Oasis.
Clark 12, Sierra Vista 6 — At Sierra Vista, Natasha James and Vivian Zhou each went 3-0 in singles to help the Chargers beat the Lions.
Bishop Gorman 18, Virgin Valley 0 — At Mesquite, the Gaels blanked the Bulldogs.
Moapa Valley 18, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Pines, the Pirates rolled to a shutout over the Jaguars.
Silverado 13, Foothill 5 — At Foothill, the Skyhawks cruised past the Falcons.
Palo Verde 18, Cheyenne 0 — At Palo Verde, the Panthers swept the Desert Shields.
Durango 12, Western 0 — At Durango, the Trailblazers won by forfeit over the Warriors.
