Roundup: Palo Verde clips Faith Lutheran in tiebreaker

The double teams of Kaya Richardson and Roxanne Okano, and Caroline Hsu and Priya Raju were 3-0 to help Palo Verde’s girls tennis team stave off Faith Lutheran for a 10-9 road victory via a 4-2 tiebreaker on Thursday afternoon.

Mira Filiberti and Arianna VanHouweling went 3-0 in singles play for Faith Lutheran.

Bishop Gorman 11, Foothill 7 — At Bishop Gorman, Samantha Yang and Julia Johnson finished 2-0 in doubles to lead the Gaels by the Falcons.

Isabelle Hanon was 3-0 in singles to lead Foothill.

Spring Valley 12, Durango 6 — At Durango, Seda Sargsyan and Jennifer Do each finished 3-0 in singles to lead the Grizzlies to a win over the Trailblazers.

The doubles teams of Maggi Concannon and Matti Concannon, and Caelidh Borda and Amelie May both went 3-0 to lead Durango.

Del Sol 16, Adelson School 2 — At Del Sol, Angel Hodges and KatieRae Patriquin went 3-0 in doubles as the Dragons demolished the Lions.

Anna Balsicas and Aide Beltran-Garcia each finished 2-0 in singles for Del Sol. Emma Bartel and Melissa Burnett were 2-0 in doubles for the Dagons.

Basic 11, Liberty 7 — At Basic, Tjaden Giles was 3-0 in singles to lead the Wolves over the Patriots.

Shleby Carvalho and Brandi Nelson went 3-0 in doubles for Liberty.

Clark 13, Desert Oasis 5 — At Desert Oasis, Esther Yi went 3-0 in singles play to lead the Chargers past the Diamondbacks.

The doubles team of Kelly Mader and Joanna Yi went 2-1 for the Chargers.

Boulder City 17, Chaparral 1 — At Boulder City, Tegan Pappas and Eugenia Kryshchuk finished 2-0 in doubles as the Eagles blitzed the Cowboys.

Green Valley 13, Silverado 5 — At Green Valley, the Gators defeated the Skyhawks.

Cimarron-Memorial 18, Canyon Springs 0 — At Cimarron-Memorial, the Spartans blanked the Pioneers.

Valley 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Vikings won by forfeit.

Rancho 12, Cheyenne 0 — At Rancho, the Rams beat the Desert Shields by forfeit.

Moapa Valley 12, Western 0 — At Western, the Pirates won by forfeit over the Warriors.

Virgin Valley 12, Mojave 0 — At Mesquite, the Bulldogs defeated the Rattlers by forfeit.
