Roundup: Palo Verde girls scrape past Durango

Shelby Graber and Ivona Dobrijevic each finished 2-0 in singles play to lead Palo Verde’s girls tennis team to a 10-8 road victory over Durango on Wednesday afternoon.

Breanna Bui and Jocelyn Jauregui each went 3-0 to lead Durango.

Bonanza 12, Cimarron-Memorial 6 — At Cimarron-Memorial, Aubrey Adams, Madi Cherry and Maris Nelson each finished 3-0 in singles as the Bengals defeated the Spartans.

Kelsey Spence and Carla LaRosa teamed to go 3-0 in doubles for Bonanza.

Angelica McCammond was 2-0 in singles for Cimarron. Etelvina Esquivel and Kailynn Williams finished 2-0 in doubles for the Spartans.

Las Vegas 14, Canyon Springs 4 — At Canyon Springs, the doubles teams of Christine Bulatao and Ana Rivera, Marley Littlefield and Jessica Rodriguez, and Natasha Alvarenga and Britney Chavez each went 3-0 to lead the Wildcats to an easy win over the Pioneers.

Karla Magana went 2-1 in singles for Canyon Springs.

Green Valley 13, Silverado 5 — At Silverado, Daria Shalina posted a 3-0 singles record to lift the Gators to a victory over the Skyhawks.

Lyric Ciarlo was 2-1 for Silverado.

Valley 12, Eldorado 6 — At Eldorado, Annelisa Laizure and Ashley Cantu each finished 3-0 in singles to guide the Vikings to victory over the Sundevils.

Heather Holman and Devyn Swain teamed to go 3-0 in doubles for Eldorado.

Moapa Valley 16, Virgin Valley 2 — At Mesquite, Jurnie Crawford and Lillian Leavitt each went 3-0 in singles in the Pirates’ rout of the Bulldogs.

Liberty 11, Basic 7 — At Basic, Madison Knoblock and Brandi Nelson finished 3-0 in doubles to lead the Patriots past the Wolves.

Allison Feng was 3-0 in singles to lead Basic.

Tech 10, Chaparral 8 — At Tech, the doubles team of Sandra Lu and Jacqueline Pachecho posted a 3-0 mark to lift the Roadrunners to a victory over the Cowboys.

Cheyenne 13, Western 5 — At Western, Vincent Kennedy was 3-0 in singles to lead the Warriors past Cheyenne.

The Meadows 14, Desert Pines 4 — At Desert Pines, Lindsey Hofflander and Olivia Waysack each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Mustangs past the Jaguars.

Veronica Palacios and Yazaret Arredondo went 3-0 in doubles for Desert Pines.

Foothill 12, Desert Oasis 6 — At Foothill, the doubles teams of Emma Grant and Katelyn Woodworth, Abbey Flinders and Kristel Peralta, and Marlaina George and Mylee Dockter each went 3-0 to pace the Falcons to a win over the Diamondbacks.

Bishop Gorman 17, Arbor View 1 — At Arbor View, the Gaels routed the Aggies.

Boulder City 12, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, the Eagles defeated the Dragons via forfeit.

Coronado 12, Rancho 0 — At Rancho, the Cougars defeated the Rams by forfeit.
