ROUNDUP: Rancho girls edge Chaparral

The doubles teams of Crystal Valenzuela and Joanne Cosio, and Monica Ortiz and Juanne Deguzman both went 3-0 on Tuesday to help host Rancho’s girls tennis team hold off Chaparral, 11-7.

Kelley Terry was 3-0 in singles for the Cowboys.

Canyon Springs 12, Valley 6 — At Valley, Rebecca Breland, Joy Jones and Stephanie Gilardo each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Pioneers over the Vikings.

Christian Earl and Corine Earl went 3-0 in doubles for Canyon Springs.

Coronado 17, Foothill 1 — At Foothill, Ilyssa Popowcer went 3-0 in singles as Coronado routed the Falcons.
Stephanie Viel and Laura Chapinsky went 2-0 in doubles for the Cougars.

Liberty 14, Tech 4 — At Tech, Sarah Lucas was 3-0 in singles to help Liberty down the Roadrunners.

Silverado 16, Boulder City 2 — At Silverado, Sasie Hasegawa and Katie Barker went 3-0 in doubles to help the Skyhawks beat the Eagles.

Green Valley 15, Del Sol 3 — At Green Valley, Blake Johnson and Loren Recine went 2-0 in doubles to help the Gators beat the Dragons.

Katie Fischer went 2-1 in singles for Del Sol.

Desert Oasis 15, Virgin Valley 3 — At Desert Oasis, Danica Ingwaldson and Lauren Lightfoot each went 3-0 in singles and the doubles team of Torry Cray and Vanessa Stephens went 3-0 to help the Diamondbacks beat the Bulldogs.

Durango 16, Sierra Vista 2 — At Sierra Vista, Josie Dean, Andrea Melo and Claire Melo all went 3-0 in singles to lead the Trailblazers over the Mountain Lions.

Clark 11, Spring Valley 7 — At Spring Valley, Natasha James and Sharon Fang each went 2-1 in singles to help the Chargers defeat the Grizzlies.

Tiffany Tavares went 3-0 to remain undefeated in singles play for Spring Valley.

Desert Pines 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Desert Pines, the host Jaguars won by forfeit.

Bonanza 12, Western 0 — At Western, Bonanza won by forfeit.
