Roundup: Strong singles play powers Sierra Vista

Andrada Stanciu, Ariana Stanciu and Claudia Murdasanu each went 3-0 in singles play Thursday to lead Sierra Vista’s girls tennis team to a 12-6 road victory over Basic.

Mikayla Berg and Nicole Saavedra went 2-0 in doubles for the Wolves.

Coronado 12, Desert Oasis 6 — At Desert Oasis, Sydney Osburn went 2-0 in singles to help the Cougars defeat the Diamondbacks.

Jessica Duff and Mana Iritani went 2-0 in doubles for Coronado.

McKenna DeMarce and Raquel Roshak went 3-0 in doubles for Desert Oasis.

Bishop Gorman 12, Clark 6 — At Gorman, Olivia Balelo and Madison Winston went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Gaels over the Chargers.

Julia Johnson was 2-1 in singles for Bishop Gorman.

Audrey Boch-Collins went 3-0 in singles for Clark.

Spring Valley 13, Silverado 5 — At Spring Valley, the Grizzlies won all the singles sets in their victory over the Skyhawks.

Jennifer Do, Nicole Attallah and Seda Sangysan each went 3-0 for Spring Valley.

Silverado’s Katie Carder and Morgan Seiler were 3-0 in doubles, and teammates Nadia Harrara and Raejean Retumban went 2-1 in doubles.

Valley 13, Las Vegas 5 — At Las Vegas High, Ashley Cantu and Catarina Guedes-Almeida each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Vikings over the Wildcats.

Faith Lutheran 15, Bonanza 3 — At Darling Tennis Center, Mira Filiberto was 2-0 in singles to lead the Crusaders over Bengals.

Bonanza’s Georgi Thwaits was 2-1 in singles.

Boulder City 17, Eldorado 1 — At Boulder City, Natalie Bowman and Katelyn Fox went 2-0 in doubles as the Eagles dominated the Sundevils.

Liberty 13, Tech 5 — At Tech, the Patriots downed the Roadrunners.

Foothill 11, Green Valley 7 — At Green Valley, the Falcons defeated the Gators.

Adelson School 12, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, the Lions won by forfeit.

Del Sol 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, the Dragons won by forfeit over the Miners.
