Roundup: Tiebreaker sends Shadow Ridge over Arbor View

Caitlyn Covington was 3-0 in singles, and Shadow Ridge’s girls tennis team won in tie breaker points 33-27 to down visiting Arbor View 10-9 in the Mountain Region quarterfinals Wednesday.
Shadow Ridge (10-4) will play at Palo Verde (13-0) at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
Demarie Harris and Anne Wirthlin finished 2-1 in doubles, and teammate Marta Suardiaz-Samaniego was 2-1 in singles for Arbor View (11-5).
Centennial 15, Desert Pines 3 — At Centennial, three doubles teams went 2-0 as the Bulldogs defeated the Jaguars in the Mountain Region tournament.
The teams of Hannah Robinson and Lainey Waldman, Giselle Leyva and Lauren Rowe, and Natasha Lawrence and Samantha Lawrence each went 2-0 for Centennial (12-2).
The Bulldogs will play Faith Lutheran (19-2) in a semifinal at 3 p.m. on Thursday at Darling Tennis Center.
Desert Pines finished 9-7.
Faith Lutheran 16, Legacy 2 — At Faith Lutheran, Summer Stadtlander and Kelsie Seigle went 2-0 in doubles to lead the Crusaders over the Longhorns in the Mountain Region tournament.
Italia Jones was 2-1 in singles for the Longhorns (5-12).
Deset Region
Sierra Vista 10, Foothill 8 — At Sierra Vista, Andrada Stanciu and Ariana Stanciu each went 3-0 in singles to lead the Mountain Lions over the Falcons in the Desert Region tournament.
Sierra Vista improved to 10-3 and will play at Coronado (13-0) in a semifinal at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
Emma Grant and Caitlyn Cooks went 3-0 in doubles for Foothill (10-6).
Coronado 15, Spring Valley 3 — At Coronado, Megan King and Paige Furin finished 3-0 in doubles as the Cougars defeated the Grizzlies in the Desert Region tournament.
Spring Valley finished 5-9.
Clark 13, Desert Oasis 5 — At Clark, Joanna Yi and Kelly Mader went 3-0 in doubles to help the Chargers take down the Diamondbacks in the Desert Region tournament.
Audrey Boch-Collins was 3-0 in singles for Clark (11-2), which will travel to Bishop Gorman (12-2) at 3 p.m. on Thursday for the other semifinal.
Natalia Damian and McKenna DeMarce each went 2-1 in singles for Desert Oasis (7-7).
Bishop Gorman 10, Liberty 0 — At Gorman, Angelique Friedrich was 2-0 in singles to help the Gaels eliminate the Patriots in a Desert Region tournament match shortened by rain.
Liberty ended the year 5-9.
