Roundup: Vanessa Booth, Catherine Snow power Silverado by Durango

Vanessa Booth and Cathereine Snow each went 3-0 in singles on Thursday as Silverado’s girls tennis team edged visiting Durango, 10-8.

Morgan Seiler and Kathryn Carder went 2-1 in doubles for the Skyhawks.

Maggi Concannon and Matti Concannon teamed to go 3-0 in singles for Durango. Jocelyn Jaurgui and Emily Pham went 2-1 in doubles for the Trailblazers.

Foothill 11, Desert Oasis 7 — At Foothill, Victoria Bickel and Emma Grant went 3-0 in doubles to help the Falcons down the Diamondbacks.

Kristel Peralta and Katherine Peralta finished 2-0 in doubles for Foothill.

McKenna DeMarce and Raquel Roshak each went 3-0 in singles to lead Foothill.

The Meadows 11, Boulder City 7 — At Boulder City, Lindsey Hofflander went 3-0 in singles to help the Mustangs edge the Eagles.

Eugenia Kryshchuk and Tegan Pappas went 3-0 in doubles for Boulder City, and Olivia Mikkelson went 2-1.

Bishop Gorman 14, Basic 4 — At Basic, the Gaels had a pair of doubles teams go 2-0 in a win over the Wolves.

The teams of Courtney Wolfson and Madison Winston, and Olivia Balelo and Lauren Soong, each went 2-0 for Gorman.

Mikayla Berg and Tjaden Giles each went 2-1 in singles for Basic.

Clark 13, Sierra Vista 5 — At Sierra Vista, Ellen Lee and Emily Follmer finished 3-0 in doubles to lead the Chargers to victory over the Mountain Lions.

Audrey Boch-Collins was 2-0 in singles for Clark.

Ariana Stanciu went 3-0 in singles to lead Sierra Vista.

Faith Lutheran 18, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Jade Mayweather went 3-0 in singles to help the Crusaders shut out the Aggies.

Katie Briggs was 2-0 in singles, and Arianna VanHouweling and Hannah Lundgaard teamed to go 2-0 in doubles for Faith Lutheran.

Coronado 18, Liberty 0 — At Coronado, the doubles teams of Jessica Duff and Mana Iritani, and Rayne Hayes and Sophia Potamitis each went 2-0 as the Cougars beat the Patriots.

Bonanza 12, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Pahrump, the Bengals defeated the Trojans by forfeit.

Chaparral 12, Legacy 0 — At Chaparral, the Cowboys beat the Longhorns by forfeit.

Centennial 12, Rancho 0 — At Centennial, the Bulldogs beat the Rams by forfeit.

Virgin Valley 12, Western 0 — At Mesquite, the Bulldogs defeated the Warriors by forfeit.

The Meadows boys tennis team won the Class 4A state title Friday in Reno. The Boulder City boys and girls lost to Northern teams in the 3A title matches.
