Roundup: Virgin Valley squeaks by Del Sol

Emma Wilson went 2-0 in singles to help Virgin Valley’s girls tennis team land a 10-8 road victory over Del Sol on Tuesday.

Angel Hodges and KatieRae Patriquin went 3-0 in doubles for Del Sol.

Melissa Burnett and Moraima Hernandez went 2-1 in doubles for the Dragons, and teammate Anna Balsicas was 2-1 in singles.

Shadow Ridge 14, Rancho 4 — At Shadow Ridge, Caitlyn Covington and Rachel Gadeski each went 2-0 in singles as the Mustangs downed the Rams.

Madison Cook and Katrina Barney finished 2-0 in doubles for Shadow Ridge.
