TENNIS: Aggies girls edge Spartans in tiebreaker

The doubles teams of Devin Diesko and Catherine Arizmendez, and Sara Long and Keara Lawson both went 2-1 on Tuesday, and Arbor View’s girls tennis team edged host Cimarron-Memorial, 10-9.

After the teams split their 18 regulation sets, the Aggies won five of six tiebreaker games to clinch the victory.

Justine Felix was 3-0 in singles, and Sydnie Roberts and Vivien Ross were 3-0 in doubles for the Spartans.

Centennial 10, Desert Oasis 9 — At Centennial, Keilani Kimoto was 3-0 in singles, and the Bulldogs won a tiebreaker to edge the Diamondbacks.

Centennial won four of six tiebreaker games after the teams split their 18 regulation sets.

Miranda Bolick and Alyssa Lourenco went 3-0 in doubles for the Bulldogs.

The Meadows 11, Faith Lutheran 5 — At The Meadows, Shalini Shah and Samantha Gondy were 3-0 in doubles as the Mustangs topped the Crusaders.

The doubles teams of Kathleen Wright and Kristina Berg, and Madison Foley and Michelle Reiss each went 2-1 for Faith Lutheran.

Silverado 12, Canyon Springs 6 — At Canyon Springs, Megan Lopez went 2-0 in singles to help the Skyhawks defeat the Pioneers.

Caitlin Linkin and Dani Angelo went 2-0 in doubles for Silverado.

Celia Plyman went 2-1 in singles to lead Canyon Springs.

Green Valley 13, Eldorado 5 — At Eldorado, Racquel Holder was 2-0 in singles as the Gators defeated the Sundevils.

The doubles teams of Olivia Nhaisi and Megan Madrid, and Elle Johnsong and Eve Wellish each finished 2-0 for Green Valley.

Melissa Guerrero went 2-1 in singles to lead Eldorado.

Foothill 13, Rancho 5 — At Foothill, Morgan Hawkins went 3-0 in singles to lead the Falcons past the Rams.

Caitlyn Stevenson and Madison Topham went 3-0 in doubles for Foothill.

Boulder City 13, Moapa Valley 5 — At Boulder City, Melissa O’Berto, Arianne Hess and Natalia Fullmer all went 3-0 in singles to help the Eagles beat the Pirates.

Sariah Gneiting and Iris Meijer went 3-0 in doubles for Boulder City.

Kinzi Robinson and Lindsey Leavitt went 2-1 in doubles for Moapa Valley.

Desert Pines 13, Virgin Valley 5 — At Mesquite, Kristine Berja and Paige DeGuzman finished 3-0 in doubles to guide the Jaguars by the Bulldogs.

Coronado 14, Basic 4 — At Coronado, Nikoletta Nikoloff and Lauren Coons each went 3-0 in singles to power the Cougars past the Wolves.

Liberty 15, Valley 3 — At Liberty, Marisa Olmos was 3-0 in singles to lead the Patriots over the Vikings.

Del Sol 16, Adelson School 2 — At Del Sol, the Dragons swept the nine doubles sets en route to a win over the Lions.

The doubles teams of Alex Hoyer and Lizette Rios, Jordan Haines and Isabelle Hernandez, and Paloma Marcos and Alheli Corona each went 3-0 for Del Sol. Teammate Milady Ramirez was 3-0 in singles.

Sydni Ferber went 2-1 in singles for Adelson School.

Tech 14, Chaparral 4 — At Chaparral, the Roadrunners topped the Cowboys.

Bishop Gorman 18, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Shadow Ridge, the Gaels swept the Mustangs.

Palo Verde 18, Durango 0 — At Palo Verde, the Panthers swept the Trailblazers.

Tech 10, Chaparral 8 — At Chaparral, Christian Valle was 3-0 in singles to lead the Roadrunners by the Cowboys.

Virgin Valley 11, Desert Pines 7 — At Mesquite, Tyler Hughes was 3-0 in singles, and teammates Jace Haviland and Ryan Rushton were 3-0 in doubles as the Bulldogs edged the Jaguars.

Liberty 12, Valley 6 — At Liberty, Tristan Hoyle went 3-0 in singles to lead the Patriots past the Vikings.

Centennial 13, Desert Oasis 5 — At Centennial, Raul Saucedo went 2-0 in singles to help the Bulldogs beat the Diamondbacks.

Centennial’s doubles teams of Tanner Durkin and Michael Stratton, and Andrew Boggess and Thomas Felt both went 2-0.

Bryce Tacker went 2-1 in singles for Desert Oasis.

Moapa Valley 13, Boulder City 5 — At Boulder City, Andy Beckstrand was 3-0 in singles, and the doubles team of Hayden Dimick and Koby Frei went 3-0 as the Pirates downed the Eagles.

Gavin Morris and Andre Pappas each went 2-1 in singles for Boulder City.

Coronado 13, Basic 5 — At Coronado, Connor Vermeys was 3-0 in singles, and teammates Shane Perkins and Wesley Harris were 3-0 in doubles to lead the Cougars over the Wolves.

Teijiro Nishimura and Kota Cook went 2-0 in doubles for Palo Verde.

Del Sol 17, Adelson School 1 — At Del Sol, La’akea Cabanas was 3-0 in singles to guide the Dragons by the Lions.

The doubles teams of Jonathon Hart and Alex Walker, and Zack Trujillo and Andres Limon-Padilla each went 3-0 for Del Sol.
