TENNIS: Doubles teams help Green Valley girls beat Coronado

The doubles teams of Elle Johnsong and Rethika Kumar, and Megan Madrid and Olivia Nhaisi each went 3-0 on Monday to help Green Valley’s girls tennis team to an 11-7 win over visiting Coronado.
Daria Shalina was 2-1 in singles for the Gators.
Samantha Ross went 3-0 in singles for the Cougars.
Bonanza 10, Desert Oasis 8 — At Bonanza, Emma Nelson, Lauren Smith and Sarai Saucedo each went 2-0 in singles to push the Bengals past the Diamondbacks.
Courtney Peritz and Charlene Velasco went 3-0 in doubles for Desert Oasis.
Basic 10, Rancho 8 — At Rancho, Winnie Feng and Rachel Snyder went 3-0 in doubles to help the Wolves edge the Rams.
Rancho’s Rosalyn Ngo went 3-0 in singles.
Arbor View 10, Centennial 8 — At Centennial, Sara Long and Keara Lawson went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Aggies past the Bulldogs.
Kaitlin McDaniel went 3-0 in singles for Centennial.
Moapa Valley 10, Del Sol 8 — At Overton, the doubles teams of Hannah Rust and Riley Fulmer, and Kinzi Robinson and Lindsey Leavitt each went 3-0 to help the Pirates edge the Dragons.
Alina Marruffo and Milady Ramirez each went 3-0 in singles for Del Sol.
Foothill 11, Eldorado 7 — At Foothill, the doubles teams of Emily Campbell and Abby Wilson, and Caitlyn Stevenson and Madison Topham each went 3-0 to lead the Falcons over the Sundevils.
Cheyenne Delicate went 3-0 in singles, and Melissa Guerrero was 2-1 in singles for the the Sundevils.
Liberty 15, Silverado 3 — At Silverado, Parker Burk was 3-0 in singles to help the Patriots down the Skyhawks.
Bishop Gorman 16, Legacy 2 — At Gorman, Stefania Ingaramo and Emma Figueredo each went 3-0 in singles as the Gaels beat the Longhorns.
Desert Pines 15, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Ashley Palacios and Cecilia Garcia-Leon each went 3-0 in singles to help the Jaguars down the Miners.
Palo Verde 18, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Shadow Ridge, the doubles teams of Caroline Ramous and Alexandria Cubley, and Maggie Sanders and Rachel Miramontes each went 2-0 as the Panthers swept the Mustangs.
Virgin Valley 11, Cheyenne 7 — At Cheyenne, the Bulldogs topped the Cowboys.

Desert Oasis 12, Bonanza 6 — At Bonanza, Bryce Tacker was 3-0 in singles to lead the Diamondbacks by the Bengals.
Kristian Godfrey went 2-1 in singles, and Alejandro Romeo and Mark Banglin were 2-1 in doubles for Desert Oasis.
Andy Stephenson and Cyrus Nelson went 3-0 in doubles for Bonanza.
Del Sol 11, Moapa Valley 7 — At Overton, Jonathon Hart and Alex Walker went 3-0 in doubles to help the Dragons down the Pirates.
Giovanni Lacala was 2-1 in singles for Del Sol.
Andy Beckstrand went 3-0 in singles, and Hayden Dimick and Koby Frei were 2-1 in doubles for Moapa Valley.
Virgin Valley 10, Chaparral 9 — At Chaparral, the Bulldogs won a tiebreaker to edge the Cowboys.
After the teams split their 18 regulation sets, they each won three of the six tiebreaker games, but Virgin Valley outscored Chaparral, 29-28 in the tiebreakers to earn the win.
Centennial 12, Arbor View 6 — At Centennial, Raul Saucedo went 3-0 in singles to lead the Bulldogs past the Aggies.
Mitchell Stratton and Tanner Durkin went 2-0 in doubles for Centennial
Arbor View’s Nevin Ly was 2-1 in singles, and the doubles team of Dustin Leavitt and Travis Norland went 2-1 for the Aggies.
Foothill 12, Eldorado 6 — At Foothill, the doubles teams of Tristin Hansel and Lukas Werle, and Teodor Drabicki and Austin Wilson each went 3-0 to lead the Falcons by the Sundevils.
Jacob Sedillo was 3-0 in singles for Eldorado.
Basic 14, Rancho 4 — At Rancho, Trever Berg and Logan Green went 3-0 in doubles to lead the Wolves over the Rams.
Garrison Stinnett and Brennan Earl each went 3-0 in singles for Basic.
Desert Pines 13, Sunrise Mountain 3 — At Sunrise Mountain, Artemio Gonzalez was 3-0 in singles as the Jaguars downed the Miners.
Desert Pines’ doubles teams of Carlos Flores and Adan Cano, and Oscar Murillo and Gerardo Sanchez each went 3-0.
