TENNIS: Taber, Young help Crusader girls stun Coronado

Chandler Young and Rachel Taber went 3-0 in doubles Friday to lead Faith Lutheran’s girls tennis team to a 10-8 victory over Coronado at Darling Tennis Center.
Paris Reese and Lauren Coons each went 3-0 in singles, and Nickoletta Nickoloff was 2-1 in singles for the Cougars.
Eldorado 15, Moapa Valley 3 — At Eldorado, Cheyenne Delicate and Melissa Guerrero each went 3-0 in singles to help the Sundevils top the Pirates.
The doubles teams of Jasmine Sanchez and Kerrigan Holman, and Jocey Avila and Avery Swain each went 3-0, and the team of Kendra Dennis and Bermary Perez was 2-0.
Palo Verde 15, The Meadows 3 — At Palo Verde, Annie Walker went 2-0 in singles to help the Panthers blitz the Mustangs.
Chloe Henderson and Sophie Henderson were 2-0 in doubles for Palo Verde.
Chaparral 10, Del Sol 8 — At Del Sol, Jinger Siu was 3-0 in singles as the Cowboys edged the Dragons.
Adriana Miranda and Ingrid Zarate were 3-0 in doubles, and Milady Ramirez was 2-0 in singles for Del Sol. Alina Marruffo was 2-1 in singles for the Dragons.
Clark 17, Adelson School 1 — At Adelson School, the Chargers stormed past the Lions.

Palo Verde 16, The Meadows 2 — At Palo Verde, Kota Cook went 3-0 in singles to help the Panthers top the Mustangs.
Rhett Bossung was 2-0 in singles, and the doubles teams of Conor Safbom and Brandon Sulzberg, and Josh Kaplan and Justin Kuykendall each went 2-0 for Palo Verde.
Eldorado 12, Moapa Valley 6 — At Eldorado, Trevor Swain was 3-0 in singles as the Sundevils downed the Pirates.
David Decker and Jacob Sedillo went 3-0 in doubles for Eldorado.
Del Sol 12, Chaparral 6 — At Del Sol, Danny Miller was 3-0 in singles as the Dragons defeated the Cowboys.
Matt Styck and Christian Wallace were 3-0 in doubles for Del Sol.
Coronado 18, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Darling Tennis Center, Ryland McDermott swept his three singles sets without dropping a game as the Cougars blanked the Crusaders.
Cassel King and Michael Boyd each dropped only one game and went 3-0 in singles for Coronado.
Clark 17, Adelson School 1 — At Adelson School, the Chargers routed the Lions.
