Returning lettermen: Twenty-two

Top athletes: Cam Hunterton (So.), Kylen Uley (Sr.), Spencer Howard (Sr.), Kyu Kelley (Jr.), Jake Phillips (Sr.), Jalen Nailor (Sr.)

Outlook: Hunterton (triple jump) and Uley (shot put) both competed in the Class 4A state meet, and Howard (fourth in discus), Kelley (100-meter dash) and Phillips (110 and 300 hurdles) all were Sunset Region finalists.

They’re among 22 returning lettermen for the Gaels, who took second in the Sunset Region meet for the second straight year.

“The men’s team returns a lot of quality athletes with regional experience,” Cooley said. “In addition, we have a number of underclassmen in the mix and some new faces to the program adding much needed-depth in the sprint group.”
