Top athletes: J’vonni Sanchez (Sr.), Milton Amezcua (Sr.)
Outlook: Sanchez (long jump) and Amezcua (3,200-meter run) both finished second in the Sunrise Region meet.
They’ll be among the leaders on a team that hopes to contend for a top spot in the region meet.
“We hope to have a great year, work hard and have fun every day,” Pike said. “We want each student athlete to excel in the classroom.
“May this sport give each athlete some motivation and confidence.”
