BOYS TRACK: Noone, Bengals top Longhorns

Travis Noone won two events on Tuesday to lead Bonanza’s boys track team to a 116-62 win over visiting Legacy.

Noone was first in the high jump with a mark of 5 feet, 4 inches, and took the triple jump with a leap of 34-2½ inches.

Legacy’s Bryon Hancock won the 800 (2 minutes, 14.4 seconds) and 1,600 (5:04.9), and teammate Kevin Davis was first in the shot put (37-10½) and discus (117-3).

Wolves top Sundevils

At Eldorado, Elijah Sharif won two individual events and ran on two winning relays to lead Basic to a 102-34 win over Eldorado.

Sharif won the 100 (11.2) and long jump (20-5½) and ran on the winning 400 and 800 relay teams.

Eldorado’s Ta’Varea Shelton won the 110 hurdles (16.2) and 300 hurdles (44.4), and teammate Eddie Esquivel was first in the 1,600 (4:55.6) and 3,200 (10:49.4).

Shadow Ridge wins three-team meet

At Sierra Vista, Tyler Kulin won two individual events to help Shadow Ridge to a win in a three-team meet.

Kulin was first in the 1,600 in 5:24 and the 3,200 in 12:27.3 as he helped the Mustangs to 81 points. Sierra Vista was second with 46, and Spring Mountain took third with 37.

Spring Mountain’s Lagarrian Jones won the 400 in 54.9 and the shot put with an effort of 43-5, and teammate Domineaq Wilson won the discus (108-5) and triple jump (37-4½).

Aggies top Trailblazers

At Arbor View, Howard Wade won both hurdles events, helping the Aggies to a 111-35 victory over Durango.

Wade won the 110 hurdles in 15.6 and crossed the line in 43.1 seconds to win the 300 hurdles.

Durango’s Leontre Austin won the 100 (10.5) along with the 200 (22.6).

Gators beat Vikings

At Green Valley, Ian Mack and Brady Williams each won two individual events to power the Gators to a 54-40 win over the Vikings.

Mack won the 100 (10.2) and 400 (50.0), and Williams won the shot put (53-1) and discus (141-10).

Valley’s Brendan Orphan won the 110 hurdles (16.4) and long jump (19-8) and tied for first in the high jump (5-8).
