BOYS TRACK: Patriots dominate Falcons on the road

Vincent Ackerman and Robert Reyes each won two individual events and ran on a winning relay to lead the visiting Liberty boys track team to a 97½-36½ win over Foothill on Wednesday.

Ackerman won the long jump with a mark of 18 feet, and took the triple jump with a leap of 37-6. He also ran on the winning 400-meter relay team.

Reyes won the 100 (10.8 seconds) and 200 (22.4) and ran on the 800 relay team.

Martin Ponce added wins in the 800 (2:03.5) and 1,600 (4:57.0) for the Patriots.

Perez, Bengals beat Spartans

At Bonanza, Jacob Perez won both hurdle events to lead the Bengals to an 83-63 win over Cimarron-Memorial.

Perez took the 110 hurdles in 15.7, and won the 300 hurdles in 43.6.

Cimarron’s Justin Lewis won the 200 (21.9) and tied for first in the 100 (10.8).

Bulldogs win three-team meet

At Bishop Gorman, Anyah Nutter and Dajour Braxton each won two individual events to help Centennial win a three-team meet.

Centennial had 102 points. Bishop Gorman had 42, and Indian Springs scored one.

Nutter won the 110 hurdles in 15.73 and the high jump by clearing 6-0. Braxton took the 800 in 2:00.56 and the 1,600 in 4:25.8.

Gorman’s Kyle Kelley was first in the 300 hurdles (39.88), the long jump (20-5¼) and the triple jump (44-5).

Diamondbacks top Longhorns

At Desert Oasis, Jocquez Kalili won two individual events and ran on two winning relays to lead the Diamondbacks to a 97-47 win over Legacy.

Kalili won the 100 (10.6) and 200 (21.9) and ran on the winning 400 and 800 relay teams.

Eagles take five-team meet

At Boulder City, Garrett Meyer won three individual events to help Boulder City win a five-team meet.

Meyer took the 800 in 2:06.5, the 1,600 in 4:45.3 and the 3,200 in 10:36.2 as the Eagles finished with 124 points. Pahrump Valley was second with 94½. Virgin Valley was third with 55½, followed by Western with 51 and Laughlin with 31.

The Trojans’ Devon Montgomery won the 200 (22.6), 400 (54.1) and 110 hurdles (15.0), and teammate Isaac Davis captured the triple jump (39-5) and the high jump (5-10).

Western’s Qwayjon Walker won the 100 in 11.1 and posted a mark of 20-0 to take the long jump.
