Centennial’s Hartle has record-setting day at Resler Invite

Centennial’s Nick Hartle was part of three meet records Friday at the Ron Resler Invitational in Boulder City.

Hartle set a meet record in the 800-meter run with a time of 1 minute, 53.36 seconds. He also set the meet record in the 1,600 in 4:18.23, and was part of Centennial’s record-setting 3,200 relay team (8:06.4).

Hartle’s efforts weren’t enough, as Foothill took the team title with 126 points. Centennial was second with 118, and Arbor View had 111.

Augy French won the high jump (6 feet) and Miles Killebrew took the triple jump (42-7) to lead Foothill.

Del Sol’s Colin Smith set a meet record in the 3,200 with a time of 9:29.6.
Arbor View set a meet record in the 800 relay with a time of 1:29.27.

Karli Johonnot was part of four victories as Centennial dominated the girls meet, finishing with 193 points. Faith Lutheran (73) was second and Arbor View (70) finished third.

Johonnot won the 110 hurdles (15.48), 300 hurdles (44.98) and high jump (5-2) and was part of the winning 800 relay team (1:44.91).

Centennial’s Brianna Roll won the 800 (2:27.58) and 1,600 (5:27.36).
