Head coach: Scott Thrasher, 10th season

Top athletes: Tevin Brown (Sr.), Daniel Ludwig (Jr.), Xavone Charles (Sr.), Kamal Counts (Jr.), Victor Magana (Sr.)

Outlook: Charles and Ludwig both were members of the Desert Shields' state-qualifying 3,200 meter relay team, and Cheyenne returns a pair of regional qualifiers in Counts (110 hurdles and 300 hurdles) and Magana (shot put).

"Our strength will be in the 400 and 800, and we should be strong in all relays," Thrasher said. "It's a well-rounded team in all events."
