Mayo leads Faith Lutheran to Ron Resler title

Kiah Mayo won two events Friday to lead Faith Lutheran’s girls track team to the championship at the Ron Resler Invitational at Boulder City High.

Mayo took the high jump at 5 feet, 2 inches, and the long jump at 16-2.

She helped the Crusaders score 86 points, topping Coronado (81) and Rancho (70).

Rancho’s Aisha Momodu won the 100-meter dash in 12.9 seconds and the 200 in 26.52.

Coronado’s Lauren Lucas took the 800 in 2:26.68 and the 1,600 in 5:37.47.

Legacy’s Avione Allgood won the shot put (43-10) and discus (126-7).

In the boys meet, Foothill scored 84 points to edge Basic (82), Canyon Springs (82) and Green Valley (80).

Green Valley’s Julius Kim won the 1,600 (4:36.04) and 3,200 (9:51.77).

Basic’s Jared Darnell took the 110 hurdles (16.26) and 300 hurdles (41.09).
