Pahrump Valley 2013 Boys Track Capsule

PAHRUMP VALLEY

Head coach: Ed Kirkwood, first season

Returning lettermen: 23

Top athletes: Dustin Dillon (Sr.), Cody Keasling (Sr.), Dominic Musumeci (Sr.), Billy Palmore (Sr.), Keenan Harris (So.), Mike Carlson (Jr.)

Outlook: The Trojans appear to have good depth to go back up a group of solid leaders.

Dillon and Keasling are expected to lead the squad in the middle distance events. Musumeci is the top returning jumper. Palmore, Harris and Carlson are expected to do well in the sprints, with Carlson also shining in the hurdles.

"The boys have some injuries from football and basketball to come back from," Kirkwood said. "A few new faces will help, plus a solid freshman turnout of 20-plus."
