ROUNDUP: Bonanza boys cruise past Pahrump

Damon Jones and Sean Kehl each won two events on Tuesday to lift Bonanza’s boys track team to a 91-56 victory at Pahrump Valley.

Jones won the 200-meter dash (23.5 seconds) and 400 (54.2), and Kehl took the shot put (36 feet, 9½ inches) and discus (116-2).

Pahrump Valley’s Alex Anderson won the long jump (20-4¼), high jump (6-0) and triple jump (42-8). Teammate Nick Stearns won the 110 hurdles (15.76), 300 hurdles (43.1) and pole vault (12-7).

Fisher, Roquemore lead Falcons past Wolves
At Foothill, Charles Fisher and Evan Roquemore took two events apiece to lead the host Falcons (76½ points) in a win over Basic (69½).

Fisher won the 100 (11.1) and 200 (22.6), and Roquemore took the long jump (20-8¼) and triple jump (43-11¼).

Mantle, Kamal lead Cougars to win
At Coronado, Andrew Mantle and Jelani Kamal won two events each as the Cougars beat Del Sol, 114-32.

Mantle won the 800 (2:06.2) and 1,600 (4:36.5), and Kamal was first in the shot put (44-2½) and discus (119-0).

Del Sol’s Evan Weinstock won the 110 hurdles (16.2) and long jump (19-9) and was second in the shot put (43-3).
