ROUNDUP: Cimarron-Memorial boys win three-team meet

Jordan Padgett, Jordan Wilson and Robert Thompson each won two events on Monday to lead Cimarron-Memorial’s boys track team to victory in a three-team meet at Legacy.
The Spartans finished with 102½ points. Legacy (88½) was second and Mojave (45) third.
Padgett was first in the shot put (44 feet, 4 inches) and discus (136-0). Wilson swept the hurdles, taking the 110-meter hurdles in 15.5 seconds and the 300 hurdles in 46.2.
Thompson won the 800 (2:12) and 1,600 (4:52).

Sierra Vista wins tri-meet
At Sierra Vista, Juan Martin won two individual events, and the Mountain Lions swept the four relays en route to winning a tri-meet.

Sierra Vista had 93½ points. Faith Lutheran was second with 57, followed by Bishop Gorman with 28½.
Martin won the 800 (2:16.1) and 1,600 (5:06.9).
Faith Lutheran’s Paul Morton won the shot put (41-11) and discus (121-5).
 
Eldorado edges Canyon Springs
At Eldorado, the Sundevils got three wins from Charles White to edge Canyon Springs, 66-65.
 
White took the long jump (20-4), high jump (6-0) and triple jump (44-2).
 
Canyon Springs’ John Sneed won the 1,600 (4:52) and 3,200 (11:11).
 
GIRLS
 
Faith Lutheran takes tri-meet
At Sierra Vista, Kiah Mayo and Liz Lynch each won two individual events to help Faith Lutheran defeat Sierra Vista and Bishop Gorman.
The Crusaders had 86½ points. Sierra Vista was second with 73½, followed by Gorman (16).
Mayo won the 200 (28.0) and the high jump (5-3). Lynch took the shot put (36-7½) and the discus (99-0).

Legacy rolls past Cimarron and Mojave
At Legacy, Avion Allgood won the shot put and discus, and Skye Luchsinger won the 1,600 and 3,200 to lead Legacy to victory in a three-team meet.

The Longhorns had 120 points. Cimarron-Memorial (52) was second and Mojave (45) third.
Allgood won the shot put with a throw of 41-7½ and posted a mark of 130-4½ in the discus.
Luchsinger won the 1,600 in 6:13 and took the 3,200 with a time of 14:12.
 
Pioneers beat Eldorado
At Eldorado, the Pioneers had two double winners to beat Eldorado, 95-41.
 
Canyon Springs’ Shavee Lighten won the 100 (12.9) and 200 (26.7), and Marica King took the 110 hurdles (17.2) and 300 hurdles (49.6).
