ROUNDUP: Evans, Wildcats top Valley boys

Las Vegas’ Lahmad Evans took first-place in the shot put (40 feet, 8 inches) and discus (117-0) to propel the visting Wildcat boys to a 95-50 victory over Valley.

Las Vegas, which won all four relays, got wins from Kode Mwirigi in the 800-meter run (2 minutes, 10.5 seconds) and the pole vault (11-0).

The Vikings were paced by Kennedy Williams, who finished first in the triple jump (43-6) and high jump (6-0).

Esquivel, Sundevils top Foothill
At Eldorado, Eddie Esquivel placed first in the boys 1600-meter run with a time of 4:43.8 to lift the Sundevils over Foothill, 74-54.

James Henderson led the Falcons with wins in the 200 (22.8) and 400 (51.1).

Liberty races past Del Sol
At Liberty, Colin Schultz won the 400 (51.0) and pole vault (13-0) to help the Patriots to a 118-28 win over Del Sol.

Reno Tu’ufuli took the shot put (51-10½) and discus (156-3) for Liberty.
