ROUNDUP: Hurdler Simon fuels Bonanza boys to win

Bonanza’s Aaron Simon swept the hurdle events on Tuesday to lead the Bengals to victory in a three-team meet at Clark.
Simon won the 110-meter hurdles in 15.8 seconds and took the 300 hurdles in 44.9.
Bonanza finished with 107 points. Clark (63) was second and Bishop Gorman (11) third.
Clark’s Aaron Arlt won the 200 (23.2) and the triple jump (40 feet, 2¾ inches).

Silverado tops Foothill
At Foothill, Ladale Jackson and Ryan Cross each won two events to help Silverado’s boys beat Foothill, 90-56.

Jackson won the 100 (11.2) and 200 (22.0), and Cross was first in the 1,600 (4:53.0) and 3,200 (10:49.6).

James leads Mojave to win
At Indian Springs, Kevin James won the 110 hurdles (17.0) and 300 hurdles (44.8) to lead Mojave to the win in a four-team meet.

Mojave scored 107 points to edge Spring Mountain (96). Indian Springs (10) was third, followed by The Meadows (6).

Basic wins three-team meet
At Del Sol, James Holmes won the high jump (6 feet) and triple jump (39-3½) to lead the Wolves to the win.

Basic had 79 points to beat Del Sol (65) and Coronado (42).
Del Sol’s Evan Weinstock won the 110 hurdles (16.53) and long jump (21-1½).
