ROUNDUP: Lewis blazes to three victories for Durango

Donovan Lewis won three events to carry the Durango boys track and field team to a tri-meet victory over visiting Spring Valley and Clark on Wednesday.
Lewis won the 100-meter dash (11.4 seconds), 110 hurdles (15.3) and 300 hurdles (40.9). He helped the Trailblazers (76 points) outscore Spring Valley (67) and Clark (40).
Clark’s James Campbell won the 400 (50.3) and 800 (2:06.7).
Jackson takes two events, lifts Skyhawks to win
At Silverado, Ladale Jackson won the 200 (22.2) and 400 (50.3) to lift the host Skyhawks to 94 points and a tri-meet win over Del Sol (63) and Moapa Valley (20).
Simon, Kakel spark Bengals to tri-meet win
At Western, Gavin Kakol and Aaron Simon each won two events, leading Bonanza past Western and Indian Springs.
The Bengals had 78 points, Western 55 and Indian Springs 15.
Kakel won the 1,600 (5:04.7) and 3,200 (11:16.4), and Simon was first in the 110 hurdles (16.1) and 300 hurdles (44.0).
Western’s Kameron Ringgold won the long jump (19 feet, 1 inch) and triple jump (40-3).
Gators roll past Basic
At Green Valley, the Gators won all but three events en route to a 99½-46½ victory over Basic. Julius Kim won the 1,600 (4:49.8) and 3,200 (10:38.8) for Green Valley.
GIRLS
Chargers win six events, take tri-meet
At Durango, Clark won six events on its way to 60 points and a narrow tri-meet win over Durango (58) and Spring Valley.
Durango’s Staci Mitchell won the 1,600 (5:58) and 3,200 (12:58), and Raneka Miller took the 100 hurdles (18.0) and 300 hurdles (51.0).
Olige sisters guide Moapa to win
At Silverado, Brianne Olige and Chelsea Olige won twice each to lead Moapa Valley to a tri-meet victory.
Brianne Olige won the high jump (4 feet, 6 inches) and long jump (13-8), and Chelsea Olige took the 100-meter hurdles (17.9 seconds) and triple jump (29-3½).
Moapa Valley scored 70½ points, topping Silverado (62) and Del Sol (48½).
Del Sol’s Rasheika Ivey won the shot put (33-9) and discus (109-0).
Pitts, Davis power Bengals to victory
At Western, Alice Pitts and Amy Davis won two events each as Bonanza finished first with 81 points, beating Western (36) and Indian Springs (22).
Pitts won the long jump (15-5) and triple jump (33-6). Davis was first in the 1,600 (6:04.1) and 3,200 (14:05.2).
Depth carries Gators past Basic
At Green Valley, Basic won 10 of 18 events, but Green Valley used its depth to edge the Wolves, 74-66.
Basic’s Alicia Richardson won the 100 (12.9), long jump (15-6) and triple jump (33-2½).
Michaela Thomas won the shot put (36-6½) and discus (104-6) for the Wolves.
