ROUNDUP: McMurray, Cowboys sprint past Sundevils

Malcolm McMurray won four events Monday to lead Chaparral’s boys track team to a 113-64 home victory over Eldorado.

McMurray took top honors in the 100-meter dash (11.0 seconds), 200 (22.2), 400 (50.9) and long jump (21 feet, 8 inches).

Chaparral’s Carlos Olague won the 110 hurdles (18.1), 300 hurdles (43.3) and pole vault (11-0).

Eldorado’s Michael Williams finished first in the shot put (37-11) and discus (113-3).

Bulldogs top Longhorns
At Centennial, the host Bulldogs won eight events on the way to 104½ points and a victory over Legacy (73½).

Legacy’s Trezarus West won the 110 hurdles (15.4) and 300 hurdles (41.9), and teammate Martell Crockett finished atop the 100 (11.1) and 200 (23.0).

Gators edge Skyhawks
At Silverado, Green Valley won eight events on the way to 70 points and a narrow victory over Silverado (68) and Liberty (48).

Silverado’s Ladale Jackson won the 100 (10.7) and 200 (21.5).

Liberty’s Anthony Norris took the 110 hurdles (14.7) and 300 hurdles (42.3).
