ROUNDUP: Spring Valley boys, girls nab tri-meet victory at Desert Oasis

Brandon Lopez won the 100 in 11.5 seconds and the 200 in 23.14 to lead Spring Valley’s boys team (89 points) to victory Monday over host-Desert Oasis (73) and Clark (21).

Desert Oasis’ Jake Estrada took the long jump (18-1¼) and triple jump (35-11), and teammate Jacob Benham won the shot put (44-3) and discus (115-8).
Clark’s Jacob Naylor took the 1,600 (4:43.71) and 3,200 (10:19.9).

Trailblazers top Gaels
At Bishop Gorman, Durango won 10 events on the way to a 68-42 victory over the Gaels.

GIRLS

Moody lifts Spring Valley to win
At Desert Oasis, Kelsey Moody won the 200 in 27.22 and the 400 in 1 minute, 3.14 seconds to help Spring Valley (86 points) run past Clark (64) and Desert Oasis (31).

Clark’s Elisa Vazquez took the 1,600 (5:56.24) and 3,200 (13:23.3), and teammate Audrey Meng won the long jump (15-1) and triple jump (32-4).

Belville leads Durango to win
At Bishop Gorman, Tierra Belville won three events to lead Durango to an 81-28 voctory over the Gaels.

Belville took the high jump (5-4), long jump (15-9) and triple jump (32-4).

Teammate Raneka Miller won the 100 hurdles (18.58) and 300 hurdles (1:03.38).�
