ROUNDUP: Tolliver powers Miner boys past Sundevils

Shmarlio Tolliver won two events Monday to lead Sunrise Mountain’s boys track and field team to an 87-50 win at Eldorado.

Tolliver won the triple jump with a mark of 41 feet, 4½ inches, and the long jump at 19-0¼.

Eldorado’s Eddie Esquivel won the 1,600-meter run in 4 minutes, 43 seconds, and the 3,200 in 10:36.3.

Affi leads Skyhawks to victory
At Silverado, Bassel Affi won two events to lead the host Skyhawks to a 78-63 win over Del Sol.

Affi won the 110 hurdles in 17.1 and the 300 hurdles in 44.64.

Del Sol’s Tremar Pike won the 200 in 23.94 and the 400 in 55.11, and teammate Dwayne Kirkland took the long jump at 19-5 and the triple jump at 39-4¾.

Smith, Watts lift Trailblazers to win
At Durango, Shavandre Smith and Tyler Watts won two events apiece to lead the host Trailblazers (108 points) by Western (34) and Calvary Chapel (31).

Smith won the 110 hurdles in 17.2 and the 300 hurdles in 45.0.

Watts took the high jump at 5-8 and the long jump at 19-4.

At Basic, Green Valley won 12 of 16 contested events on the way  to a 105-34 win over the Wolves.
