ROUNDUP: Washington, Swafford pace Palo Verde boys to win over Sierra Vista

Zeke Washington and Jarod Swafford each won two events Tuesday to help host Palo Verde’s boys track team to a 99-43 win over Sierra Vista.
Washington took the 200-meter dash in 22.5 seconds and the 400 in 53.3, and Swafford won the discus with a throw of 131 feet, 4 inches and the shot put (41-8½).
Sierra Vista’s Clay Bronson won the 110 hurdles (19.6) and the 300 hurdles (53.4).
Gaels top Spartans
At Bishop Gorman, Austin Nobis and Jamir Tillman each won two individual events to lead the Gaels to a 76-55 win over Cimarron-Memorial.
Nobis won the 200 (22.8) and 400 (51.4), and Tillman took the 110 hurdles (16.5) and the high jump (6-0).
Aggies defeat Mustangs
At Arbor View, Ivy Dobson and Cole Jones each won twice to lift the Aggies to a 93-53 win over Shadow Ridge.
Dobson won the 100 in 10.5 and the 200 in 21.8. Jones took the 800 in 2:06.3 and the 1,600 in 4:34.1.
Watts, Ross guide Durango by Grizzlies
At Spring Valley, Tyler Watts and Victor Ross each won twice to help Durango to a 95-51 win over the Grizzlies.
Watts took the long jump (20-3) and high jump (5-10), and Ross won the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles (47.8).
Spring Valley’s Brant Berglund won the 100 (11.1) and 400 (51.7).
Nutter guides Bulldogs to win
At Centennial, Anyah Nutter won three events to help the Bulldogs (138) to the win over Desert Oasis (39½) and The Meadows (5½).
Nutter was first in the 100 hurdles (15.7), 300 hurdles (43.5) and high jump (5-10).
Dajour Braxton won the 1,600 (4:38.3) and 3,200 (9:59.9) for Centennial.
