Top athletes: Bryanna Neagle (Sr.), Xori Green (Jr.), Kendall Larson (Jr.)

Outlook: Neagle finished second in the high jump in last year’s state meet, and Green took third in the 200.

Larson was sixth in the state in both the 1,600 and 3,200.

“Bringing in a young team, led by a few key returners, we are looking to compete right away in Class 4A while building for the future with a lot of talented underclassmen,” Kober said. “We will be looking to find points in the throws and a few of the jumps.”

Nevada high school state championships aren’t exclusive to just teams in the Silver State. Six out-of-state schools compete athletically for state titles against Nevada schools.
