Outlook: A long-time track coach, Armstrong takes over a program primed for success.

“This year, the Longhorns hope to make a strong run for the state championship,” Armstrong said. “We are a little more balanced than last year. We hope that we can build on last year’s success and qualify more young ladies to state.”
