GIRLS TRACK: Thomas, Gators defeat visiting Rams

Eboni Thomas won two events on Wednesday to lead Green Valley’s girls track team to a 111-29 victory over visiting Rancho.
Thomas won the long jump with a mark of 16 feet, 1½ inches, and was first in the triple jump with a leap of 34-0¾.
Debbie Olalare won the 200-meter dash in 27.73 seconds for the Gators, and was second in the 100. She also ran on the winning 400 and 800 relay teams.
Green Valley’s McKenzie Gravo cleared 10 feet in the pole vault.
Skyhawks dominate Wildcats
At Las Vegas, Arainna Moon and Monet Salazar each won two events as Silverado beat the Wildcats, 120-28.
Moon was first in the 110 hurdles (19.1) and 300 hurdles (51.5), and Salazar won the shot put (35-1) and discus (127-0).
Wolves win tri-meet
At Basic, Azure Werner and Immanuela Nuachukui each won two events as the Wolves beat Eldorado and Indian Springs.
Werner won the 100 hurdles (18.7) and 300 hurdles (57.4), and Nuachukui won the high jump (4-10) and triple jump (28-5).
Vikings top Pioneers
At Canyon Springs, Eimainei Thomas-Palmer won three events to lead Valley to an 80-57 win over Canyon Springs.
Thomas-Palmer was first in the high jump (4-4), long jump (16-3) and triple jump (37-2).
Alyviah Brouchet won the 100 (12.0) and 300 hurdles (49.29) for Canyon Springs.
Jordan, Cougars beat Falcons
At Coronado, Charleen Jordan won four events as the Cougars beat Foothill, 79.67-66.33.
Jordan won the 100 (12.7), 200 (25.87), 100 hurdles (15.26) and 300 hurdles (47.56).
