ROUNDUP: Centennial girls top each event in rout of Cimarron

Centennial’s girls track team won every contested event Wednesday, including four from Karli Johonnot, on the way to a 118-24 home victory over Cimarron-Memorial.

Johonnot took the 100-meter dash (13 seconds), 200 (25.2), 100 hurdles (16.4) and pole vault (10 feet, 3 inches).

Centennial’s Takara Shaw posted wins in the shot put (35-3) and discus (91-11).

Canyon Springs girls roll
At Canyon Springs, Destanae Howerton-Davis and Jamila Pullum each won two events as the Pioneers finished with 88 points to top Eldorado (47) and Indian Springs (8).

Howerton-Davis won the shot put (40-5) and discus (117-0), and Pullum finished first in the 200 (27.2) and 400 (1:00.5).

Eldorado’s Claudia Gonzalez took the 800 (2:36.2) and 1,600 (5:49.0).

Jackson leads Cheyenne past Mojave
At Cheyenne, Brittney Jackson won the shot put (36-0) and discus (120-0) to help the Desert Shields to a 62-56 win over Mojave.

Mojave’s Louisa Koester won the 800 (3:09) and 1,600 (6:42), and teammate Clarissa Cannon took the 100 (12.8) and long jump (15-1).

Four double-winners lead Liberty to victory
At Foothill, Joslyn Evans, Adwoa Fosu, Gabrielle Palazzolo and Jazzlynn Wilkins each won two events to lead the Patriots to a 94-46 victory over Foothill.

Evans won the 1,600 (5:48) and 3,200 (12:53.8), and Wilkins took the 100 hurdles (17.5) and 300 hurdles (52.8).

Palazzolo was first in the long jump (15-5½) and pole vault (7-0), and Fosu claimed the 400 (1:03) and triple jump (35-4).

Davis leads Valley to victory
At Rancho, Christina Davis won the 100 hurdles (17.9), long jump (15-2) and triple jump (32-0) to lead Valley (96 points) to an easy victory over Rancho (67) and Sunrise Mountain (16).

Valley's Anne Underwood took the 800 (2:30.1) and 1,600 (5:39.9).

Rancho's Aisha Momodu won the 100 (12.2) and 200 (25.2).

Balanced Aggies top Longhorns, Mustangs
At Arbor View, the Aggies won nine events on the way to 86 points and a victory over Legacy (47) and Shadow Ridge (44).

Legacy’s Avione Allgood won the shot put (40-8) and discus (124-7).
