ROUNDUP: Dixon wins three events as Valley girls beat Las Vegas

DaNiece Dixon won three events as Valley’s girls track team downed visiting Las Vegas 119-26 on Tuesday.

Dixon placed first in the 100-meter hurdles (16.8 seconds), the long jump (14 feet, 8½ inches) and the triple jump (32-6½).

The Vikings also took first in all four relays.

Las Vegas’ Creshonda Carter won the 200 (25.7) and 400 (1:00.9).

White, Falcons beat Eldorado
At Eldorado, Demi White won the 400 (1:01.3) and 800 (2:40.4) to lead Foothill to a 73-58 win over Eldorado.

Laura Simonson added wins in the 100 hurdles (19.2) and 300 hurdles (54.1) for the Falcons.

Liberty downs Del Sol
At Liberty, Kayla Herrera won the 800 in 2:46.5 and the 1,600 in 6:11.5 to help the Patriots to an 80-66 win over Del Sol.

Liberty’s Ashlie Blake won the shot put (48-10) and discus (138-1).
