ROUNDUP: Johonnot, Centennial girls nab tri-meet win

Karli Johonnot won three events Monday to carry Centennial’s girls track team to 126 points and a home victory over Legacy (58) and Indian Springs (1).

Johonnot took the 100 hurdles (15.4 seconds), the high jump (5 feet, 7 inches) and long jump (16-5½).

Legacy’s Darielle Banks finished first in the 100 (12.6) and 200 (26.1), and teammate Avione Allgood earned wins in the shot put (41-3) and discus (132-6½).

Chaparral wins home meet
At Chaparral, the host Cowboys won six events on their way to 70 points and a victory over Eldorado (25) and Trinity (11).

Eldorado’s Claudia Gonzalez claimed triple honors with wins in the 800 (2:46.7), 1,600 (5:56.7) and 3,200 (13:13.4).

Trinity’s Andrea Martinez took the 200 (27.1) and 400 (1:03.6).

Green Valley nips Silverado
At Silverado, Green Valley won six events on the way to a narrow victory over Silverado (76) and Liberty (32).
