ROUNDUP: Koch, Lounsbery help Panther girls edge Aggies

Kelsi Koch and Tori Lounsbery won two events apiece Tuesday to help Palo Verde’s girls track team edge visiting Arbor View, 75-70.
Koch took the 1,600-meter run in 5 minutes, 44.1 seconds and the 3,200 in 12:46.3
Lounsbery won the shot put with a heave of 33 feet, 11 inches, and the discus with a mark of 79-9.

Steed lifts Cheyenne to win
At Legacy, Ali Steed won two events to lead Cheyenne (89 points) past Legacy (74) and Indian Springs (1).

Steed took the 100 hurdles (17.4) and 300 hurdles (50.8).
Legacy’s Darriel Banks was first in the 100 (12.3) and 200 (25.6), Skye Luchinger took the 1,600 (6:23.2) and 3,200 (14:33.2), and Avione Allgood won the shot put (44-0½) and discus (130-1).

Mathews, Wright lead Skyhawks to victory
At Silverado, Aliyah Mathews and Diamondique Wright each won two events to lead the Skyhawks to an 83-52 victory over Del Sol.

Mathews won the 100 (13.6) and 200 (28.2), and Wright took the shot put (35-8) and discus (116-8).
Del Sol’s Angela Johnson claimed the 100 hurdles (18.3) and high jump (4-6) for the Dragons.

Four double-winners carry Pahrump Valley to victory
At Clark, Pahrump Valley had four athletes win two events apiece en route to 97 points and a victory over Clark (50) and Trinity (9).

Taylor McJunkin won the 200 (26.8) and 400 (1:03.3) for Pahrump, and teammate Ashley Lindgren took the 1,600 (5:33.9) and 3,200 (12:12.6).
Also for the Trojans, Naomi Agrabright won the 100 hurdles (18.9) and 300 hurdles (52.5), and Regan VanEngen took the long jump (15-4) and triple jump (32-11).
