ROUNDUP: Maxwell’s three wins lead Rancho girls past Jaguars

Aryn Maxwell won three events Tuesday to lead Rancho’s girls track team to an 88-40 win over visiting Desert Pines.
Maxwell placed first in the 200-meter dash (27.6 seconds), 400 (1:00.7) and 800 (2:37.0) for the Rams.
Rachel Stewart won the 100 hurdles (17.3) and 300 hurdles (52.6), and Miracle Blalark was first in the shot put (34 feet, 5 inches) and discus (84-5) for Rancho.
Paulo, Chitwood pace Pioneers
At Valley, Pearl Paulo won the long jump (15-0) and triple jump (32-4), and placed second in the high jump (5-0), and Mandy Chitwood took the 800 (2:35.3) and ran on three winning relays to lead Canyon Springs to victory in a three-team meet.
The Pioneers finished with 82½ points to top Valley (71) and Chaparral (29½).
Danesha Trammell added wins in the 100 hurdles (17.2) and 300 hurdles (49.4) for Canyon Springs.
Valley’s Kennedy Wharton won the 100 (13.0) and high jump (5-0).
Cougars roll past Falcons
At Coronado, Santina Giordano, Emma Czerwinski, Ali Hauck and Morgan Mavroudis each won two events as the Cougars cruised past Foothill, 112-34.
Giordano won the 100 (13.1) and 200 (27.3), Czerwinski won the 1,600 (6:06.3) and 3,200 (12:56.1), Mavroudis won the 100 hurdles (16.2) and 300 hurdles (48.7), and Hauck took the high jump (4-10) and triple jump (32-3).
Depth, relays lead Diamondbacks to win
At Sierra Vista, Desert Oasis won three of four relays on the way to a 79-63 win over the Mountain Lions.
Sierra Vista’s Morgan O’Neal won the 100 (13.2) and 200 (27.2).
Crusaders roll to home win
At Faith Lutheran, Callie Scull, Hannah Pavlov, Renee Vogel and Jessica Forage each won two events as the Crusaders won a four-team meet with 142 points.
Shadow Ridge was second at 66½, followed by Virgin Valley at 47½ and Beaver Dam (Ariz.) with 6.
Scull won the 100 (13.0) and 200 (26.42), Pavlov took the 800 (2:34.02) and 1,600 (5:40.47), Vogel won the high jump (4-10) and pole vault (9-6), and Forage won the shot put (32-1) and discus (90-11½).
Virgin Valley’s McCall Grajek finished first in the 100 hurdles (16.9) and the triple jump (30-10).
