ROUNDUP: Onyema’s three victories helps Faith Lutheran girls hold off Shadow Ridge

Krystal Onyema won three events Tuesday to lead Faith Lutheran’s girls track team to a 75-69 victory at Shadow Ridge.

Onyema took the long jump at 17 feet, 2 inches, the triple jump at 36-4½ and the discus at 99-0.

Faith Lutheran’s Macy Helm won the 100-meter hurdles in 16.9 seconds and the 300 hurdles in 51.9.

Shadow Ridge’s Tia Brass took the 100 in 12.7 seconds and the 200 in 27.0.

Ruffin, Carr lead Spring Valley past Bishop Gorman
At Bishop Gorman, Le’Seun Ruffin and Whitney Carr won two events apiece to lift the Grizzlies to a 78-51 victory over the Gaels.

Ruffin took the 100 in 19.0 and the 300 in 53.2.

Carr won the 100 in 12.7 and the 200 in 27.2.

Beville, Maloney lift Trailblazers to victory
At Durango, Tiarra Beville and Samantha Maloney each took two events to lead the host Trailblazers to 103 points and a victory over Western (38) and Trinity (10).

Beville took the high jump at 5-0 and the long jump at 16-5.

Maloney won the 800 in 2:47 and the 1,600 in 6:11.

Western’s Sydney Pavageau took the shot put at 30-6 and the discus at 94-9.

Trinity’s Andrea Martinez won the 100 in 13.1 and the 400 in 1:01.3.

Ruppert leads Cougars to victory
At Liberty, Brooke Ruppert won the 100 in 12.9 and the 200 in 26.4 to pace Coronado to an 84-49 victory over the host Patriots.

Liberty’s Gabrielle Palazzolo took the pole vault at 8-6, the long jump at 15-6½ and the triple jump at 32-7.

Liberty’s Jazzlynn Wilkins won the 100 hurdles in 16.6 and the 300 hurdles in 46.8.
