Austin Phillips won two events Monday to lead Silverado’s girls track team to a narrow 77-76 win at Coronado.
Phillips took the 100-meter hurdles in 17.8 seconds and the 300 hurdles in 51.3.
Coronado’s Lauren Lucas won the 800 (2:42) and 1,600 (5:36).
Clark, Sierra Vista tie for second
At Sierra Vista, Maile Hiu took both hurdle events to help the Mountain Lions tie for second in a three-team meet.
Australian Select won the meet with 62 points. Clark and Sierra Vista each had 53.
Hiu won the 100 hurdles in 19.0 and the 300 hurdles in 58.4.
Gators feast on Jaguars
At Green Valley, Caitlin Brickley swept the hurdles, taking the 100 in 19.3 and the 300 in 52.4 to lead the Gators to a 104-29 rout of Desert Pines.
Kiana Alexander claimed the 200 (28.8) and 400 (1:04) for the Jaguars.
